one of my personal favs in the collection is my candid conversation with Dark Kenjie. he’s dressed as Amon… its a surreal image ^_^; A_Mom and Amon ;)

how cute was DJ after dante walked in? did any one manage to hit his table in artist alley? i love bobby rubio’s enthusiasm when he talks about his history. who went to his booth after the panel? i still can’t believe we had the honor of hosting gurihiru! i am so happy i had them sign The Promise for me. also, watch dante’s surprised look when he sees mae whitman. they are so adorable!

Voice of Katara, Mae Whitman will join SDCC Fan Panel
If you are one of the many Avatar the Last Airbender fans joining our humble panel Saturday the 14th, then you are in for an even bigger treat than we originally organized…
The line up of panelists and special guests was already brilliant, but I now have the honor of announcing that Mae Whitman (voice of Katara) will join the panel. I am in awe of the wonderful mix of panelist this year. We have representation from the past (Bobby Rubio, Dante Basco, and Mae Whitman) the future of ATLA (Dark Horse graphic novel artists Gurihiru) and it’s legacy (DJ “Dark Kenjie” Welch). Not to mention the fun we usually have with our “special guests”.
When you arrive, understand that we will need to start the panel immediately to make the most of our time. Mae Whitman will need to leave the panel immediately, so there will be no opportunities for impromptu autographs out side of the panel room. It’s so fantastic to have Mae join the fan panel. Even though she no longer voices Katara, she is still lending her wonderful talents to another Nickelodeon series. She will be the voice of April O’Neil for Nickelodeon’s TMNT!! Be sure to check out the show :)
